It has been a wonderful 16 months in the wonderful, harsh world of Pandora for Borderlands 2. With a wealth of DLC already being given to us, we have grown in level, explored new places, met many people and killed many things. Sadly, it all must come to an end.

Gearbox Software has announced that their FINAL piece of DLC for Borderlands 2 will release April 15th for $2.99 and will be titled Sir Hammerlock vs The Son of Crawmerax. This DLC kidnaps Sir Hammerlock to an abandoned island resort and you must rescue him. 18 Months of DLC is really amazing.

Twitch Shutting Down Non-Gaming Broadcasts From PS4

Twitch, effective immediately, will start shutting down streams that are not video game related. Since PS4 announced the ability to live-stream any game, people would go live with The Playroom and create non-gaming “shows” where they discussed whatever and did anything, clearly violating Twitch’s Terms, which no one probably read anyway. The infamous stream where a man stripped his lover naked after they engaged in alcoholic consumption sent shockwaves across the internet and caused Twitch to crack down on non-gaming channels.

You can still use The Playroom and have game discussions since it is gaming related content. Yes, this means people will be watching you to see if you are following terms and conditions. So if you are one of the people who is using live-stream for your own good and not for gaming content, you better start or you will be shut down (good riddance, morons.)

Child of Light Developer Walkthrough

Below is a developer walkthrough for Ubisoft’s upcoming turn-based RPG. This game looks wonderful with what looks like an old school RPG-style gameplay. The story is about a girl named Aurora, a child stolen from her home, who, in her quest to return, must bring back the sun, the moon and the stars held captive by the mysterious Queen of the Night. She is helped by her playable companion Igniculus the firefly. It is built on the Ubi-Art engine.

It is slated for a release on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC and Wii U in 2014.

Thank You To All Veterans

We here at VGSanctum would like to thank all active-serving military personnel and former servicemen and women for all they have done for this wonderful country we live in known as the USA. While it takes a special person to show honor, courage and bravery to defend this nation, you exhibit those attributes with confidence and you are the reason we are here today. Thank you all for everything you have done whether you are currently serving, served previously or those who live on in memory.

PS4’s Remote Play Only Works At Home?

In their Q&A, Sony has shed some light on the ability to use remote play on your Vita. Sony says that while remote play in your house will work great, trying to use remote play away from your house may not work so well. Sony “strongly suggests” using the same WiFi network your PS4 is connected to in order to use the remote play feature. “We also recommend that PS4 be connected to the local area network via an Ethernet cable, that a router suitable for gaming be used, and that the PS Vita system be within close proximity of the WiFi access point so that the connection is free of interference.”

Sony also had this to say about using remote play outside of your house: “For Remote Play to function over a wide area network, a robust and stable WiFi connection and broadband Internet connection is required, and the local area network where PS4 is connected must be configured to permit the PS Vita system to access PS4,

This is a real bummer. However, it isn’t 100% denied of using it away from your home. Hopefully with a strong WiFi connection where you go, you could be able to use the feature. But with the PS4 and Vita needing to be on the same WiFi network, it definitely brings down the hype of the remote play we saw in the Day In The Life Of PlayStation video.
