Monster Hunter 4G has been a great title for Japanese gamers since 2013 and why not? Monster Hunter is one of the best experiences out there for those who want a challenge and a great game to team up with friends. Japan has been having fun, but what about Europe and America?
IGN has a post saying that Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter 4 is coming to western gaming markets in 2015. Being dubbed Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, it will be a 3DS-exclusive with all-new content and monsters.
One of the wonderful titles announced during the latest Nintendo Direct was Yoshi’s New Island which also showed off a wonderful art style. Originally, it was announced for Spring, but now Nintendo has specified the date.
Yoshi’s New Island will release March 14th through the eShop on Nintendo 3DS and 2DS.
King Dedede is up to his usual no-good deeds as he makes his return in the upcoming Wii U/3DS Smash Bros game. Having been in Brawl, this will be the second game of the franchise we can play as him or have Kirby thwart his plans as usual.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds has been awarded Game of the Year by GameSpot. Yes that’s right a handheld game has actually won Game of the Year, and I couldn’t be any happier that it was A Link Between Worlds that accomplished this.
A Link Between Worlds released toward the end of November for the Nintendo 3DS. It truly is a great game that experimented with the formula a little bit resulting in a refreshing Zelda experience.

Nintendo UK has made the classic Game Boy Color game Super Mario Bros. Deluxe free for 3DS owners in the UK. Nintendo Direct revealed an augmented-reality-type game titled Chibi-Robo Photo Finder (say that 5 times fast.) The game fits you in the role of Chibi-Robo and you are tasked to fill a museum up with props, which happens to be photos of stuff from the real world. Display your museum with items such as a baseball, wall socket and toilet paper and watch as your museum becomes the talk of the town and eventually the world.
You can also help other characters in-game with chores such as cleaning, preparing food and ridding a garden of unwanted guests. This quirky game will sure be a fun one as it will be intriguing to see what else to add to our museums. You will also be able to demo the game the same day as release date.
Nintendo Direct had a boat load of announcements this morning, one of them was the new Yoshi’s Island game coming to our Nintendo 3DS’s and 2DS’s. Nintendo says Yoshi’s New Island will come with new eggs and new abilities. It also shows off a fantastic art style, which I am very fascinated with and will definitely be checking this game out come Spring of 2014.
Before we get to play the upcoming turn-based RPG known as Bravely Default on our Nintendo handhelds February 7th of 2014, we can sample this arguable Game of the Year 2014 contender on January 2nd, 2014 on the 3DS/2DS eShop. The demo will include a side story created specifically for the demo and will not be featured in the main game. The demo also allows you to street pass to collect other Mii’s to help with jobs or as warriors to aid you in battle.
During this morning’s Nintendo Direct, the next side-scrolling epic adventure for Kirby was announced for the 3DS in the form of Kirby Triple Deluxe. The game boasts a new feature where not only do you play in the foreground of the levels, but also can go into the background of the levels (similar to Rayman Legends.) Also, objects and obstacles in the background will hinder your progress even try to hurt you.
Nintendo also says that Kirby will have over 20 different abilities to use in the game; 4 of them were created specifically for this game only. Including the newly-shown Hyper Nova ability. Kirby can only use it during certain points in stages, but it will allow Kirby to literally suck up every enemy and object in front of him and also allows Kirby to open up new paths in the stage Talk about exclusive content, that is awesome!
Triple Deluxe will also add 2 new multiplayer modes.
Some new detail about Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars has been shared by Atlus which was recently announced to be coming westward in 2014.
The game itself is actually kind different and somewhat strange. In the game you play as a character known as “God’s Gift” and is the only hope at protecting the world from the monsters that emerge from Pandora’s Labyrinth.
That makes the game sound different from what it actually is really. Conception II is an RPG where you grow and carefully nurture relationships between characters. There are seven heroines that you do this with and if you can carefully grow a close relationship with each one then they will be happy with you and give birth to Star Children.
It’s a very strange and interesting concept to say the least.
Conception II will be coming to PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS next year and Atlus has revealed that if you pre-order the game you will receive a collectors edition box and 10 track soundtrack.
