PS4 Corrupted Save File Solutions

Yesterday, PlayStation users were reporting error code CE-34878-0, which cause many people to love save files in NBA 2K14, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and FIFA 14. Sony has came up with a POSSIBLE solution to the problem.

Sony has told users “please close the application and then install the latest system software and game patch. If the error occurs again, initialise the PS4 system after back-up of the save data and please also submit any crash reports after re-booting your console when the error occurs.”

Destiny Release Date Announced For September 9th; Beta To Be Summer 2014

Bungie has finally announced the release date for its upcoming sci-fi kind of MMOFPS game Destiny, and it will be the summer of 2014 on September 9th of 2014. Beta is also said to start up Summer of 2014, which will first be released on PS4 and PS3 due to Bungie’s partnership with Sony. In order to get the beta, you must pre-order the game, which isn’t that bad of a deal.

I am very excited about this game and the release date is wonderful, however it is right when schools and universities start back up.

PSN Passwords May Have Been Reset; Check Yours

In Europe, some PSN users have noticed that their passwords have been reset. This is due to Sony being concerned on some suspicious activity happening with PSN. As a caution, some users passwords were reset to protect them. Sony is now saying this may affect some users here in the US.

Check to see if you can log into PSN, if you can’t then you need to reset your password. It is very easy, all you need for information to reset is your email and your date of birth associated with your Sony Entertainment Network account. If you don’t have either of these, then here is a link on further instructions.

3 Free Pack-In Goodies That Comes With Every PS4

ps4 pack in

Sony has one more thing for its PS4 customers. They have announced that they will include a special voucher in every PS4 box for U.S and Canada customers which gives them 30 days of PlayStation Plus, 30 days of Music Unlimited and $10 wallet credit for the PlayStation Store. Pretty fancy little welcome package, however there are some restrictions.

  • The 30 day PS Plus is intended for NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY so if you are an existing PS Plus member, you cannot stack it on your existing membership
  • The 30 day PS Plus is only available for a limited time only. There is no day announced when it will no longer be valid but that maybe included in the PS4’s next week
  • The 30 day Sony Music Unlimited is intended for NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY. Plus, don’t forget that PS4 doesn’t support cd’s/mp3’s/custom soundtracks with your media, you must use Sony Music Unlimited which is a separate subscription fee

At least the $10 has no restrictions haha. I personally don’t know what to do with it but may use it for Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons on my PS3 or The Wolf Among Us on my Vita.

Killzone: Shadow Fall Shown Running On PS Vita Via Remote Play

vita

Guerilla Games has released a video (shown below) of Killzone: Shadow Fall running on Vita with the remote play. The video shows the PS4 and Vita versions at the same time. It shows the Vita version running at a low resolution (240p according to Gamespot.) But the Vita version shows no lag, probably because of the low res.
