Octodad: Dadliest Catch Delayed On PS4; Considering Xbox One Still

Young Horses commented via Twitter in terms of  the release date for Octodad: Dadliest Catch on PS4 and that “April is the PS4 goal. There was never a definite date, or delay.” Even though it was targeted for March, at least it isn’t too far of a setback.

Young Horse’s post also continued about an Xbox One version “Also, considering Xbox One means we thought about it in our brains.” Follow up tweets reveal that it is just a thought and that “Thinking does not equal doing.”

Dadliest Catch is already out on PC if you want to not wait for the PS4 version.

Ryse Now $39.99 Digitally For A Limited Time; Microsoft Testing Cheaper Digital Prices

February 18th-February 24th, Xbox One owners will be able to buy Ryse digitally through the Xbox Store for only $39.99, instead of the traditional $59.99 both digitally and in retail.

Microsoft has revealed this is due to both the new DLC coming  out February 28th. More importantly, this is due to the feedback from fans complaining about digital prices being so high (I completely agree since we aren’t taking home a disk or box.)

This is a test, as they specified, to see how the cheaper digital prices play out. Expect to see other digital titles being cheaper for a limited time the rest of this month and hopefully Microsoft will drop digital prices in the future.

First 13 Minutes of South Park: The Stick of Truth

It seems as if we finally are getting the multi-time delayed South Park RPG game. Recently going Gold and hitting shelves March 4th, publisher Ubisoft has released the first 13 minutes of the game for us to check out.

The Stick of Truth casts you as the new kid in South Park and put you right in the middle of the battle for the Stick of Truth.

The Evil Within Releases August 26 In NA; August 29th In Europe

The Evil Within, which is in my top 5 most anticipated this year, will hit around the end of August for PS3, PS4, PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360 and I cannot wait, although I have to.

The man behind the original survival-horror themed Resident Evil titles, Shinji Mikami, seems to take us back to the hybrid style we loved in Resident Evil 4 as opposed to the mostly-action styles of RE5 and RE6.

Borderlands 2’s Final DLC Releases April 15th

It has been a wonderful 16 months in the wonderful, harsh world of Pandora for Borderlands 2. With a wealth of DLC already being given to us, we have grown in level, explored new places, met many people and killed many things. Sadly, it all must come to an end.

Gearbox Software has announced that their FINAL piece of DLC for Borderlands 2 will release April 15th for $2.99 and will be titled Sir Hammerlock vs The Son of Crawmerax. This DLC kidnaps Sir Hammerlock to an abandoned island resort and you must rescue him. 18 Months of DLC is really amazing.
