Macho_Man_NWO_3_101813DKFG

Today, 2K has announced a Season Pass for WWE 2K14. This season pass will cost $19.99 and grants you access to superstars, new moves and new parts for create-a-superstar. The first piece of DLC is titled the Accelerator Pack and it allows you to unlock all in-game items and be able to tweak the attributes of WWE superstars in the game. If you don’t buy the season pass, it will cost $1.99 on its own and is available to purchase/download the day the game comes out. If you buy the season pass, you will get to be able to unlock the outsiders attires for Kevin Nash and Scott Hall as well as get 10 online badges for those who like to compete online.

The second DLC is titled nWo pack and it unlocks the nWo-themed superstars Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Macho Man Randy Savage, Syxx, Curt Hennig, Scott Steiner and The Giant. If you buy this separate, then it will cost you $8.99. Also, The Giant is a free download and this pack will be available in November.

The third DLC in the season pass is called the WWE Superstars and Moves Pack. This pack includes Fandango and Big E Langston, Nikki and Brie Bella and Summer Rae. The move contains 30 moves that include AJ’s Black Widow submission as well as Brock Lesnar’s Koji Clutch. It is available for $7.99 separately and will be available in December.

The final DLC pack in the season pass is the WWE Legends and Creations pack. This pack gives you WWE Hall of Famers Bruno Sammartino and “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, plus WWE Superstars “Ravishing” Rick Rude and Jake “The Snake” Roberts and playable WWE Manager Virgil. It also gives you 15 new create-a-superstar parts to help create your future legend even more. It is $8.99 separately and Virgil is also a free download. This pack will be available in January of 2014.

WWE 2K14, under a new publisher in 2K, looks to re-define what it means to have an authentic WWE game experience. Let us hope 2K will take this game to where it should be as 2K has been established as a sports game giant with their awesome NBA 2K games. WWE 2K14 comes out October 29th so go pre-order it, buy the season pass and become immortal.

Watch Dogs and The Crew Have Been Delayed Until Mid/Late 2014!

In a news article on IGN Ubisoft says that both Watch Dogs and The Crew have been delayed until next fiscal year. The new projected window for the launch of Watch Dogs is anywhere from April 2014 to June/July 2014. Here is the quote from Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot
Ubisoft also released the following separate statement from CEO Yves Guillemot:

“Our long term goal is to win the next generation. The tough decisions we are taking today to fully realize the major potential of our new creations have an impact on our short-term performance. We are convinced that, longer term, they will prove to be the right decisions both in terms of satisfaction for our fans and in terms of value creation for our shareholders. We are building franchises that will become perennial pillars of Ubisoft’s financial performance. In a context of growing successes for mega-blockbusters, the additional time given to the development of our titles will allow them to fulfill their huge ambitions and thus offer players even more exceptional experiences.

Fueled by strong momentum for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, calendar 2014 will see the return of growth to the console market. Combined with the quality of our line-up and our strong financial situation, this growth will allow us to achieve record operating income in fiscal 2014-15 and 2015-16.”

In a separate statement from the Watch Dogs blog, the team says “As we got closer to release, as all the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place in our last push before completion, it became clear to us that we needed to take the extra time to polish and fine tune each detail so we can deliver a truly memorable and exceptional experience.”

This sucks. I was looking forward to booting up Watch Dogs day one on my PS4, already got it payed off and everything. Now, we must wait. However, giving that Ubisoft is a very great gaming company who puts out wonderful game after wonderful game, we can expect the delays to be worth it. With Watch Dogs and The Crew looking good already, we now have more months to wonder how much better it will look, feel and play. Still sad though 😦

Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix Announced for PS3 Launches Globally 2014

With the recent release of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix for the PS3 we Kingdom Hearts fans knew it was only a matter of time when they where going to announce the 2.5 collection. Well it seems it’ll be coming a lot sooner than at least I thought it would be coming. Can I say that I am thoroughly excited? It’s going to be awesome to play Birth By Sleep on the big screen in HD. The first collection was really great and judging by the trailer this collection is getting the same exact great treatment maybe even better.

Without further ado here is the announcement trailer with English subtitles.

The 2.5 HD Remix is going to contain the Final Mix versions of Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. It will also contain HD remasters of the DS title Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. Which is good considering that wasn’t the best game in the series but the story is sort of important.

The people at Square Enix putting this together seem to be very happy about this as well at least the Product Manager Mat Kishimoto thinks so.

I’m so excited to be able to see all of these games included as a part of this compilation, but personally, the most exciting title may be Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. As many may not have been able to experience its awesomeness, it’s truly one of the more phenomenal games, and now completely rebuilt in HD — you’ll be able to play it on your big-screen TV for the first time.

Well I wholeheartedly agree with that as you can tell from my opening paragraph.
